Description: Castaloy is a cast iron alloy used to repair cast iron products. The physical properties of Castaloy are very unique. One characteristic that distinguishes it from other products is its lower melting point. Cast Iron melts at 2102 degrees F while Castaloy melts at a mere 500 degrees F. This allows you to liquify and bond to your cast iron project with greater ease while also producing a stronger bond than cast iron can produce alone.
